School Board
[Spanish]
The school board is a support group
that organizes fundraising activities and help in the making of decisions
and the implementation of programs to ensure Epiphany school goals are
accomplished for the benefits of our urban and multicultural school, our
students and the community. It is a collective responsibility for a school
board to ensure the school enjoys the support and patronage of the parish
and the community, so the school can deliver the highest quality of
education and learning experiences for all students, with a focus on
student engagement, learning and development in a safe environment. We
encourage parents and family of all our students to join us in the task of
making decisions that will ensure our goals are accomplished. All
interested parties should contact our principal, Sister Elizabeth Pardo,
for more information.
What The School Boards Can Do?
The school board encourages community involvement on behalf of
the school and creates and implements strategic planning and especially
the development of programs in support of the school. The school’s board
also helps identify and implement the school’s philosophy and cooperates
in the development of all the school’s plans. Help establish goals and
priorities for the school, review & evaluate policies and reports about
the curriculum, promote parent involvement, assist as an advisory tool for
the school. Recognize student and staff achievements; develop community
and business partnerships, advocates for the students and Epiphany school.
