6th Grade

Classroom goals:

  1. School Vitality:  Her students take place in a partnership with the 5th graders in a support/mentor relationship.  This will intensify the mutual respect and camaraderie between the classes.
  2. Catholic Identity:  To help enable students to develop qualities of compassion and respect.  She gives positive reinforcement to students displaying those attributes.  The students also participate in activities that help build their self-esteem and reflect upon positive behavior.
  3. Academic Excellence:  She promotes academic excellence by being a highly qualified teacher and supporting each individual student in their schooling.

She is currently entering her first year of full time teaching.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Communication and recently graduated from DePaul University with a Masters degree in Education (Secondary English).
