ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS

Registration for the September-June school year is accepted in February. Notification as to acceptance is given by May 1st. The principal makes the final decision as to the admittance. This decision is based on student needs, school programs, classroom size, and the Priority Criterion for Admission.

Priority Criterion for Admission

1. Active, registered parishioners with children already in our school.
2. Contributing parishioners.
3. Catholics, but not members of the parish.
4. Non-Catholics

ADMISSION AGE

1. Pre-School – Student entering the Pre-School must be 3 or 4 years of age or older on or before September 1st of the current school year.
2. Kindergarten – Students entering Kindergarten must be five years of age or older on or before September 1st of the current school year.
3. Epiphany School does not screen under-aged student to determine whether or not they are ready for Pre-School or Kindergarten.

NOTE:
An application for entrance into Epiphany School does not guarantee acceptance. The Principal reserves the right to review the prospective student’s academic and other records before deciding to accept the student.

Registration: Upon registration, parents must present the following items, which will become part of their child’s permanent record:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Baptismal Certificate
3. Shot Records, Physical Form and Dental Form
4. First Communion Certificate (If entering in after the 3rd Grade)
5. Confirmation Certificate (If Confirm before the 8th Grade)
6. In case of transfer, an official transfer from the previous school indicating the grade level the child will be entering.

All documents, such as Birth, Baptismal, First Communion, Confirmation Certificate, which are normally kept in the possession of the child’s parents, will be photo copied and returned to the parent as soon as possible.
