EDUCATIONAL TRIPS

Educational field trips are encouraged at each grade level and all students are expected to participate. If, for some valid reason, a student cannot participate, the principal will decide what should be done. Otherwise, students must be in school on that day.

Students must bring signed permission slips and money (if required) from parents(s)/guardian(s) in order to participate in any educational trip.

In all cases, uniforms will be worn.

Parents will be requested to act as chaperones for these trips and will be informed of their duties by the teacher on the day of the trip. In most cases, only 2 chaperones per classroom are needed. Chaperones may not bring young children on the field trip. Chaperones may not take their child/children home with them after the field trip.

If a charge is made for the trip, it is to cover the cost of transportation, entry fee (if any), and tour costs (if any). Chaperones must also pay this charge.
