EPIPHANY STUDENTS RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In school I have the RIGHT to:
• Talk at appropriate times
• Have an appropriate work space
• A comfortable, safe environment
• Make mistakes while learning
• Be regarded as a worthwhile learner
• Use the washroom when necessary
• Learn to my potential
• Disagree with others
• Materials and equipment needed to learn

In school I have the RESPONSIBILITY to:
• Use appropriate language and voice
• Tell my teacher where I am at all times
• Walk and not run inside the building
• Not make fun of others’ mistake
• Ask for help when I need it
• Express my feelings in words
• Treat others with respect
• Use the washroom appropriately
• Be on time and ready to work
• Think for yourself
• Keep myself free from harm and danger
• Not harm or endanger myself, or others
• Respect the school and others’ belongings
• Keep my desk and area clean and neat
• Be respectful to the Pastor, Principal, Faculty, and Staff as well as visitors to our school.

During Lunch I have the RIGHT to:
• A pleasant place to eat
• Sit and talk with friends
• Eat without unpleasant disturbances

During Lunch I have the RESPONSIBILITY to:
• Use good manners
• Eat hot lunch provided or what I bring to school
• Listen to and respect Lunch Supervisors
