RCIA, also called Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, are religious classes intended for Adults who wants to know and practice the Catholic faith. What does it mean to know and practice the Catholic faith? First of all, to become Catholic one does not need to be a certain age. People can become Catholic at any time and age during their life. All they have to do is to attend classes which are held once a week. These classes are for young adults who want to know and practice the Catholic faith; they will learn the fundamentals of Catholicism. As they learn the basics of the Catholic faith, they will see that there is a lot that one needs to learn in order to be a good Catholic.
If you are an adult and have not received one of the Sacraments whether it is baptism, confirmation or first communion, it is the time to attend classes to receive them.
